Erected by the GDR shortly before the fall of the Wall, the scoreboard for the regattas is visible over the entire area. In front of the scoreboard, you’ll see the saddling area, where boats are prepared for regattas. Behind the board, several boathouses line the Dahme river in a dense row. This panorama offers an occasion to reflect on public accessibility to the water, a topic that challenges urban planning not only in Grünau, but throughout Berlin.
